This month, we’re excited to announce the launch of new products, tease upcoming advancements and reflect on the releases our customers loved last year.
Looking back on a year of product releases
At the nationally acclaimed IHRSA 2019 Show, we debuted several exciting enhancements for our customers including our New Member Check-In and Home Page Shortcuts.
Shortly after IHRSA, CSI Spectrum launched our SMS messaging service, enabling members guests and prospects to receive confirmation and reminder messages for appointments and important club info. This service also allowed for custom messages to be sent to selected recipient groups.
In 2019 we continued to focus on optimizing the Spectrum experience for our users on the go. With that in mind, we made significant upgrades to our member app with a new menu design, improved navigation and new search functionality for bookings, classes, and programs.
To better support your facility, we separated signature capture from payments and developed an integration with Topaz. This new device integration is available for workstations that only require signature capture functionality. Additionally, users can pair this device with a payment device at the same workstation.
Expanding our Family
In addition to all of the new functionality, upgrades and new services, our favorite accomplishment was more than doubling the size of our engineering team! This team is already hard at work and will be vital for us as we look to complete our product roadmap for 2020.
Racing into 2020
We can’t wait to continue to release product advancements to the CSI platform in 2020. To share our excitement, we wanted to give our customers a preview of what’s to come in the upcoming months.
The most exciting announcement is a brand-new look for our Member Portal! Coming in March, your Member Portal will be updated with a more modern design. The new design doesn’t feature just a pretty face, it will also make navigation easier and more intuitive for all users. We will send another communication with the release date and more details but here is a sneak peek!
We are also excited to announce our new REST API, giving your organization the ability to create customer member experiences, give employees greater access, and receive greater access to your data. Be on the lookout later this month for more details about how this can transform your club.
Finally, we will have a new payment device integration coming for our customers using payment services. We are excited to offer the Ingenico Lane 5000 and Lane 7000 devices in March. Keep your eyes out for more details as we get closer to IHRSA 2020.
